| Vikela web vault, browser extensions and desktop app | GPL-3.0 | Public mirror coming soon |
We'll publish a public copy of each part at the exact version we run, with build instructions, before anyone outside Auxo uses Vikela. Each release will link to it from inside the app.
Until the public copies are up, anyone who uses Vikela can ask us for the complete source of the version they use, and we'll send it free of charge: support@auxodigital.africa.
Built on open source
Vikela is built on open-source code from two projects, and we're grateful to the people behind them:
- The Bitwarden client apps (web vault, browser extensions, desktop app), licensed under GPL-3.0.
- The Vaultwarden server, licensed under AGPL-3.0.
Vikela is an independent product made by Auxo. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Bitwarden, Inc. or the Vaultwarden project. Bitwarden is a trademark of Bitwarden, Inc. We keep every original licence and copyright notice in our source, and mark the files we changed.
